(opps, here's the post from a week ago that I forgot to publish)
In the 5 years that we have lived together I never realized how small our house was until now, when we are trying to make room for a third little person. Who knew that getting ready for such a tiny thing would take up so much room??? Not I. However it is time to start prepping for the little angel, you know make sure she has a place to sleep and all. We started slowly a few months ago with the purchase of a crib.
It was so exciting to get, than followed by a few weeks later a dresser (to use as a changer as well). The dresser is already getting full and that's just from hand me down clothes (thanks to everyone who have given us clothes- by the way). Here's Mike doing assembly on the dresser. What a handy man :)

But work on the house continues, Mike's honey do list is getting longer. As now we have began adding more storage in places like the kitchen, bedrooms, and soon the bath room. Not to mention the work that will still need to be done on the nursery, as it right now contains just a crib, dresser, and some toys stuffed in the little bookshelve. Whew, it's exhausting just thinking about all this work.
However, it's been fun doing all of it.
As you can see there is no real scheme in the room. We are eclectic people, and would like to expose her to all sorts of different things and colors. Don't worry folks, there will be pink in the room, we just haven't gotten that far yet.
